“The hotel presents grand Edwardian architecture, offering a unique experience compared to modern alternatives; however, some areas show their age and could benefit from updates. Its central location is a real advantage, placing guests near Bournemouth's gardens, shops, and beach. Despite some inconsistencies, it remains a viable option for those prioritizing location and historic charm.”

an acceptable stay, with some issues

dated bathroomunderwhelming breakfast
the room i had was showing its age. the bathroom looked dated. the breakfast buffet was a little underwhelming. i found the overall service style suggested the hotel focuses more on coach parties than individual guests.

I appreciated the hotel location. It was a short walk to the shops. The staff was friendly, especially in the reception. I did found the room to be clean and tidy.
First, parking was a problem upon arrival. The hotel didnt clearly explain the parking situation. The spa area looked tired and needed updating. I thought the swimming pool area wasnt as private as I would have liked.
